100th Anniversary Rowan Cup Final at Hamilton Crescent

This Sunday (23rd July) will see the Rowan Cup Final played at Hamilton Crescent in what is the competitions 100th Anniversary. The final will see Premier League side Prestwick take on Premier two promotion chasers GHK. Play will begin at 1pm.

This historic event marks 100 years since the first Rowan Cup Final, which was also held at Hamilton Crescent. The inaugural winners in the 1923 edition were Uddingston.

Neither of this years finalists have one the trophy, however GHK’s predecessors at the Old Anniesland, Glasgow High School FP won it in 1963. We look forward to seeing which side raises the trophy on Sunday.
