New mower delivered!

This week, the Club took delivery of a brand-new tractor and mower for the outfield, marking a significant investment in our ground facilities. We are incredibly grateful to the members who generously contributed towards this purchase. This equipment will make a huge difference to the quality of the outfield and surrounding areas.

The tractor also supports a variety of attachments, giving us more options to invest in ground maintenance and improvements.

Head Groundsman Andy Carswell shared his thoughts:

"This is going to make a massive difference to the outfield over the next few seasons. It really shows the Board’s commitment to keeping Hamilton Crescent in top shape. I’ve already taken it for a couple of spins, and it’s brilliant! I’ll be spending half my summer sitting on it - I’m grateful for the comfy seat!"

It’s been a busy start to preseason preparations, with the weather being unusually kind. In fact, conditions have been so dry that we’ve even had to water the square.
