Shayan Recognised in CricketWorld Performance of the Week

Well done to Shayan Anwar, who has been recognised by CricketWorld for his blistering hundred that he scored in August. The 126 Shayan blasted received 550 votes in CricketWorld’s Performance of the Week competition. While not enough to win the overall title, Shayan has been given a commemorative cap and certificate in recognition of this fine performance.

This season, Shayan has been an outstanding performer in the Partick XI, often opening the batting and bowling with blistering fast starts and early wickets not an uncommon sight. His performances also earned him well-deserved promotions to the McCrea FS West of Scotland XI on several occasions.
