The McCrea FS West of Scotland XI were comfortable winners at Hamilton Crescent, restricting Ayr to 169 all out off 45.5 overs, thanks to Callum Dutia’s 5/57. West chased that score in just 28.3 overs., Tom Colgan 100*(79).

The Hamilton Crescent XI tied an exciting game down at Galloway, scoring 206/6 off their 50 overs, Andrew Galloway 51. They then bowled out Galloway for 206 off 45.1 overs, young Avaneesh Yilapavanam taking the final wicket.

Sunday:

The Partick XI piled on 291/6 at Cambusdoon with junior Mark Wilson scoring 94*, and easily defended it, with best figures of 3/11 for Mukund Deepak.

The Sunday XI won a close game vs Mearns, scoring 206 off their 40, Jesse Mills 82. They defended this by 10 runs, Mamoon Hussain taking the final wicket with 10 balls left, Naweed Zazai 3/25.
