West stars head to Spain for World T20 qualifer

A huge congratulations to Maryam Faisal, Abtaha Maqsood and Nayma Sheikh who have been selected for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Europe Qualifier in Spain, beginning on September 6. Faisal makes her well-deserved first step up into the senior Women’s squad after an excellent U19 World Cup performance earlier in the year. Faisal, Maqsood, Sheikh, as well as Keeper Ellen Watson have also been selected in an ‘A’ squad who will play matches against Ireland at Titwood between the 21st and 25th August.

The club wishes all four the best of luck and can’t wait to see how they get on in the middle!
