West Represented at U19s World Cup

January 2023 will see Scotland take their place at the inaugural ICC Women’s U19 T20 cricket world cup to be held next year in Johannesburg, South Africa. Scotland will feature in a group with India, South Africa and the UAE, with the top 3 progressing to the Super Sixes. The squad for the tournament was announced this week and West of Scotland was delighted to have 3 representatives in the squad in Nayma Sheikh, Anne Sturgess and Maryam Faisal.

Congratulations to all 3 West players (as well as the rest of the squad), it is well deserved for ongoing hard work and dedication. The whole club wishes you well for this exciting opportunity!! Good Luck!!
